# How It Works

You need the growth engine of a company twice your size — without the payroll to match. Here's how we build it with you: diagnose first, land where the diagnosis points, expand toward the full engine.

## It Starts With a Diagnosis, Not a Package

Most agencies sell what they already built. We start with evidence.

The **Growth Assessment** is a structured diagnostic — a scored evaluation of where your business stands across data, processes, tools, team, and revenue performance. It includes an AI-readiness audit or savings forecast when your situation calls for it. The output is a phased, budget-aligned plan that scopes the actual work — valuable whether you hire us or not.

You arrive with a question — "I need more leads" or "we need marketing help" — and we treat it honestly: as a symptom report, not a prescription. The diagnosis decides where the engagement lands. That redirect — from what you think you need to what the evidence shows — is the filter that separates execution shoppers from right buyers with wrong self-diagnoses.

**There's a second path.** If you already know what you need — a marketing engagement, a Content Ops pilot, Sadyr (our AI Revenue Agent), a specific SEO scope — you can go straight to a scoped proposal for that service.

## The Engagement Ladder

Engagements follow a five-rung ladder. Each step produces standalone value. Nothing obligates the next.

**1. Intro call** — A short, free discovery conversation about your operations and growth pipeline. Enough to confirm fit before any paid work.

**2. The Growth Assessment** — The paid diagnostic ($2.5K–$6K). You receive a scored evaluation, a phased roadmap ranked by impact, and clear direction on what to address first.

**3. First engagement** — We land where the diagnosis points: a marketing engagement, a data and RevOps build, an automation project, or a prototype. This is working infrastructure — deployed, monitored, documented — not a strategy deck.

**4. The full engine** — An integrated retainer across capability areas: marketing that fills the pipeline, revenue operations that make the data clean and the workflows reliable, and AI that multiplies output.

**5. Embedded leadership** — Senior revenue leadership without the executive payroll. A weekly operating cadence, accountability for the revenue number, and direction of your internal marketers and adjacent agencies if you want it. This is the function of a CMO or head of growth, described plainly rather than wrapped in a title. Orchestration is an option the engagement makes available, never a condition of it.

## We Lead With Your Binding Constraint

Engagements always address the bottleneck first:

- **Data-bottlenecked** — consolidate and structure your data before AI touches it.
- **Process-bottlenecked** — document workflows first; you can't automate what you can't describe.
- **Tool-bottlenecked** — integration architecture before AI enablement.
- **Strategy-bottlenecked** — a use-case definition workshop; everything else is already there.
- **Team-bottlenecked** — adoption training alongside a contained pilot.

This sequencing is why our recommendations don't fail the common way: an AI implementation built on an unaddressed foundation gap produces frustration, then skepticism, then shelfware.

## What You Get: Systems, Not Decks

Every engagement produces working infrastructure. Marketing work that fills the pipeline. Revenue operations that consolidate data and automate workflows. AI builds deployed on your real systems, monitored for quality, and documented so your team can operate them.

We built Content Ops and Sadyr — our knowledge-operations platform and AI Revenue Agent — for our own production environment first. Every system we deploy runs in our operations before it runs in yours. That's how we know it works.

You leave with something running, not a slide deck describing what could run.

## After Launch

Building a system is half the job. The other half is a team that uses it and numbers that prove it's working.

**Adoption Training** gets your team confidently operating new systems — role-based training, documentation, and embedded support through the transition.

**Team AI Enablement** builds durable internal AI capability if you want to build with AI yourselves, not just consume a delivered system.

**Ongoing operations** carries the relationship forward. You choose the level: a monthly **AI Operations Health Check** that audits output quality and monitors accuracy and cost, or **fully managed services** where we run the systems we built — monitoring, optimization, incident response, expansion, and monthly reporting.

## How We Work

You're not sent forms to fill out. An assessor walks through intake with you and records the answers, so the basics take minutes and discovery gets the time. Anything that would otherwise become homework — data pulls, document hunts — is handled by us or done together, live.

Call lengths are estimates for your planning, never a limit. We stay on the call as long as the work requires. No client gets moved along, cut short, or dropped through a gap in the process for the sake of efficiency.

## Who This Works For

You're competing against bigger, better-funded organizations and you need strategic firepower and operational execution you can't afford to hire full-time. Typically 10–100 employees, roughly $3M–$15M in revenue, with structured workflows where automation and AI have real leverage.

One strong signal: you can already name where the hours leak — manual reporting, content that can't keep pace, leads that go cold before follow-up, revenue data nobody trusts. But not knowing is equally qualifying. Diagnosing where to start is one of our highest-value contributions.

What matters is wanting working systems, not another strategy document.

## What We Won't Take On

We judge conduct, not category. We refuse work that profits from harming, deceiving, or exploiting people — predatory practices, profiting from addiction or harm to minors, dealing in weapons. We work for businesses competing against bigger money — never for the money doing the smothering.

We also don't offer regulatory-compliance services. Our clients are U.S.-based, and compliance advisory is outside what we'll stand behind.

The filter is real. We once walked away from a committed retainer — mid-engagement — when research revealed the client intended to market vapes to minors. We'd do it again.

## Start With a Conversation

[**Book an intro call**](/schedule-a-strategy-session/) — a short discovery conversation about where you are and what you need. The call is free, low-friction, and the front door to everything else.

From there, most engagements begin with the **Growth Assessment** — the structured diagnostic that replaces guessing with evidence. Or if you already know what you need, we can scope that engagement directly.
