Outperform. Don’t outspend.

The Growth Assessment

This is a structured evaluation of where your business stands across six operational dimensions—data, processes, tools, team capacity, strategic clarity, and governance—with a scored diagnostic built in.

What makes this assessment worth paying for, before paying for work, is this: the plan you receive is concrete, executable, and valuable even if you never hire Adroit again.

Diagnose Before You Commit

Most engagements start with guessing: you describe the problem, the agency guesses at the cause, you pay for work that may or may not address the actual constraint. The Growth Assessment replaces that model with evidence.

This is a structured evaluation of where your business stands across six operational dimensions—data, processes, tools, team capacity, strategic clarity, and governance—with a scored diagnostic built in. Depending on your situation, it can include an AI-readiness audit or an AI savings forecast. What you receive is a phased, budget-aligned plan ranked by impact: the work Adroit proposes afterward targets your highest-leverage opportunities, not a generic package.

What You Receive

The assessment produces a complete diagnostic report containing:

  • 01Executive summary

your overall readiness tier in one page, with a visual maturity matrix showing your position on every dimension and the top findings

  • 02Dimension-by-dimension analysis

your current maturity level, the specific evidence behind each score, and what it would take to move up one level

  • 03Bottleneck analysis

which dimension is your binding constraint, why it matters in practice, and the remediation sequence

  • 04Readiness roadmap

recommended engagement phases (address the bottleneck first, then the first AI use case, then expand), with investment estimates and expected outcomes per phase

  • 05Methodology appendix

how the scoring works, so the result is inspectable rather than a black box

Recommendations are specific by design—not “improve your data,” but “consolidate customer data into the CRM with validated required fields”.

The Six Readiness Dimensions

The diagnostic evaluates your organization across six dimensions of operational readiness:

  • 01Data Maturity

measures the quality, accessibility, and governance of your organizational data. Data is the prerequisite for all AI operations—an organization with excellent data and nothing else can still succeed with AI; an organization with everything except data cannot.

  • 02Process Documentation & Standardization

measures how well workflows are defined, documented, and actually followed. AI automates processes—if processes aren’t defined, there is nothing to automate, only chaos to replicate at machine speed.

  • 03Tool Ecosystem & Integration Capability

measures your current tech stack, API availability, and integration maturity. The tool ecosystem determines integration effort: modern API-capable stacks integrate AI in days; closed legacy systems take months of connector work first.

  • 04Team Capacity & Change Readiness

measures skills, bandwidth, and organizational willingness to adopt AI. The best implementation fails without people willing and able to use it; this dimension predicts adoption velocity.

  • 05Strategic Clarity

measures defined AI use cases, success metrics, and executive alignment. Clarity about use cases and success metrics is what separates measurable ROI from expensive experiments.

  • 06Governance & Risk Posture

measures data privacy practices, compliance requirements, and risk tolerance. This dimension is diagnosed, never remediated—Adroit does not offer regulatory-compliance services.

How the Scoring Works

Each dimension is scored 0–4 from three kinds of evidence:

  1. Structured diagnostic questions

the assessor walks you through these live and records the option that matches your reality. You are never asked to go gather information or complete the diagnostic on your own time; collecting the evidence is Adroit’s job.

  2. Discovery evidence

the assessor’s judgment from the open interview, grounded in specific observations.

  3. Validation

live demonstrations (“can you pull that up right now?”) that can adjust a score up or down when the evidence exceeds or contradicts self-reporting. Validation happens in the session, on screen, rather than as a homework request.

Self-reported answers and observed reality often diverge. Where they differ by two or more levels, the report flags a perception gap—one of the most valuable findings an organization can receive.

The six dimension scores combine into a single weighted overall readiness score from 0.00 to 4.00. Scores are assigned conservatively and are not negotiable to please the client. If you disagree with a score, Adroit will re-examine the contested dimension with additional evidence—but assessor independence is maintained. The value of the assessment depends on it telling you what you need to know, not what you want to hear.

The Four Readiness Tiers

  • 01Not Ready

(0.00 to 0.99): Significant foundational gaps. AI integration now would fail; foundational digital work comes first.

  • 02Foundation

(1.00 to 1.99): Basic readiness present. Targeted gaps must be addressed alongside the first carefully scoped AI use case. Most first-time prospects land here.

  • 03Capable

(2.00 to 2.99): Solid foundations. Ready for structured, multi-workflow AI integration with quality monitoring.

  • 04Advanced

(3.00 to 4.00): Mature across dimensions. Ready for autonomous operations, multi-agent orchestration, and strategic AI advisory.

A “Not Ready” result is not a rejection—it means a premature investment was just avoided. The assessment names the specific foundation gaps and the sequence for closing them.

What to Expect

The Growth Assessment runs approximately 7–10 business days from booking to delivered report. You’ll spend a couple of hours of your team’s time in conversation, not homework.

Intake happens at the top of the session. You are not sent a form to fill out—an assessor walks through your company profile, tech stack, AI experience, and what prompted the interest with you, so the basics take minutes.

Assessment session typically runs about 90 minutes and can be split in two. It includes a discovery interview (open-ended exploration across all six dimensions), the structured diagnostic (you pick the option that matches your reality), and validation with live demonstrations where possible.

Call lengths are estimates for your planning, never a limit. Adroit stays on the call as long as the work requires. If a discovery conversation opens up something important at the 90-minute mark, the conversation continues. Anything that would otherwise become client homework—forms, data pulls, document hunts—is handled by Adroit or done together, live.

Analysis and scoring happens on Adroit’s side after the session.

Report delivery is a walkthrough call, typically about 30 minutes, where you receive the full report plus a guided tour of the findings and the recommended path.

This Is Not a Lead-Capture Quiz

The Growth Assessment is a real diagnostic, not a sales instrument disguised as one.

It is not a self-service questionnaire that tells everyone they’re “almost ready.” An assessor is present for every step that involves you.

Scores are not adjusted to make the report more comfortable.

It does not obligate a follow-on engagement. The report and roadmap are yours, and they are written to be actionable whether or not Adroit does the work.

The Plan Is Portable

What makes this assessment worth paying for, before paying for work, is this: the plan you receive is concrete, executable, and valuable even if you never hire Adroit again.

You own the diagnostic. You own the roadmap. You own the recommendations, ranked by impact and phased by what’s realistic given your budget and capacity. If you decide to execute it with your internal team, or with a different partner, or not at all, you still have the evidence and the sequence.

The assessment tells you what to build and in what order. That knowledge has value regardless of who holds the tools.

From Findings to Engagement

The assessment diagnostic is the same one built into Adroit’s full Growth Strategy engagement, so nothing is repeated if you continue. The readiness tier sets the shape of the recommendation; the bottleneck dimension sets the sequence.

  • 01Not Ready tier

No AI engagement is proposed—that would waste your money. Adroit names the specific foundation gaps, scopes or refers foundational digital work, and offers a reassessment once they’re addressed.

  • 02Foundation tier

Roadmap first, then targeted implementation. Address the top bottleneck (usually data consolidation or process documentation), then implement the first AI use case on the prepared foundation.

  • 03Capable tier

Multi-workflow AI operations integration, including quality monitoring.

  • 04Advanced tier

Orchestration architecture or a strategic advisory retainer—you need scaling and architecture help, not getting-started help.

Engagements always lead with the binding constraint. If data is the bottleneck, Adroit consolidates data before AI touches it. If processes are undocumented, Adroit documents workflows first—you can’t automate what you can’t describe. If tools can’t integrate, Adroit builds integration architecture before AI enablement.

This ordering is why Adroit’s recommendations don’t fail the common way: an AI implementation built on an unaddressed foundation gap produces frustration, then skepticism, then shelfware.

You Don’t Have to Start Here

The Growth Assessment is Adroit’s most common entry point, but not the only one. A prospect who already knows what they need—a marketing engagement, a Content Ops pilot, a specific landing page or SEO scope—can go straight to a scoped proposal for that named service.

Proven on Ourselves First

Adroit runs its own company on the systems it sells. Same revenue, better margins. The AI-native operating model works at the level of a P&L.

Both of Adroit’s proprietary platforms—Content Ops (the discovery and knowledge-base system that generated the content you’re reading now) and Sadyr (the AI Revenue Agent handling first-touch qualification on Adroit’s own site)—are live, functional, in production, and dogfooded before they’re ever offered to a client.

How Pricing Works

The Growth Assessment is a fixed-scope initial package, priced on value rather than hours. Adroit uses menu pricing aligned with outcomes, not time-and-materials billing.

The comparison is to what the engagement replaces if built internally: a fractional CMO, a RevOps lead, an execution team, and martech management—fully loaded, at multiples of the retainer. For less than the cost of one manager, you get senior revenue leadership connecting marketing, operations, and AI to profit, plus the engine to execute it.

How It Starts

With a short, free discovery call about your operations and growth pipeline—enough to confirm fit before any paid work begins.
